COMPLETE TRANSFER GUIDE

Server Transfer

Use this before Transfer Surge opens, while applications are live, and again before you approve the move. The goal is simple: know where you can go, what can block you, and what becomes irreversible.

Authority ruleLive Transfer Surge values override old screenshots, old charts, and older transfer generations.
Do not let a transfer request be approved until you are sure of the destination.

Once the destination approves your request, you cannot cancel it or switch to another Warzone during that application period. If you do not move manually during the transfer window, the approved transfer can complete automatically when the period ends.

IF YOU ONLY READ ONE SECTION

The transfer process in 5 steps

You do not need to memorize every mechanic below. When Transfer Surge opens, use the live event and follow this order.

1

Check where you can go

Open Transfer Surge. Confirm the eligible Warzones in your group and the exact event times.

2

Check your account

Record your Transfer Score, category, and exact ticket requirement. The game assigns your category — you do not need to calculate it yourself.

3

Confirm the destination can take you

Make sure the target still has the seat or Transfer Points your account requires, and coordinate with its President or leadership before applying.

4

Apply only when the choice is real

If you are President or Alliance Leader, step down first. Submit the request only when you are prepared to move to that Warzone.

5

Treat approval as final

Double-check the destination before approval. Once approved, you cannot switch or cancel. Before moving, screenshot active tasks; after arrival, join the intended first Alliance.

Can I transfer?

You are ready to move only when every required gate for your live event is clear.

1

Eligible destination

The target Warzone must appear in your current Transfer Surge group/list. Do not assume any server can receive you.

2

Your transfer category

Read your live Transfer Score and category after the event calculates them. Current-client categories use Follower, Trailblazer, Contributor, and Elite.

3

Room on the target

The target must still have the seat, category capacity, or Transfer Points required for your account.

4

Required tickets

Have the ticket amount shown by your live event before committing. Recent transfer generations commonly use 50 tickets for the first transfer.

5

Approval path

The destination President normally controls approval unless the active event has an applicable auto-approval path.

6

No leadership lock

A current President or Alliance Leader must resign before submitting a transfer request.

If one of these is unknown: do not guess. Open the live Transfer Surge screen and resolve it before applying.
PREPARATION DAY

Transfer Score: what you actually need to know

You do not need to calculate this yourself. The game snapshots your Transfer Score at the start of Preparation Day. It is not the same as the Combat Power number you casually watch on your profile.

Current-client score inputs

  • Uses historical-high account development across buildings, heroes, units, technology, and Drone.
  • Only the 15 highest-power Heroes are counted for Hero Power.
  • Only the top 3 squads fully deployed with units are counted for Unit Power.
  • The score is calculated at the start of Preparation Day and then freezes for that transfer event.

Overlord is version-sensitive

We have current-client transfer branches both with and without Overlord included in Transfer Score. That means BlackBar Gaming will not publish one universal formula.

Use the formula shown inside your active Transfer Surge.
Do not use an old cutoff chart.

Follower / Trailblazer / Contributor / Elite thresholds can change between transfer groups or event generations. Your live event is the only safe source for your current cutoff.

DESTINATION CAPACITY

What Limited, Semi-Open, and Fully Open mean

You do not need to calculate a server's open state. Read the label in the live event. In simple terms, Limited and Semi-Open use category seat counts; Fully Open may use a shared Transfer Point pool. The detailed current-client rules are below.

LIMITED OPEN

Smaller intake

30 Trailblazers
3 Contributors

No Elite slot is stated in this branch.
SEMI-OPEN

Expanded intake

40 Trailblazers
5 Contributors
1 Elite

FULLY OPEN

Points-based intake

2 Elite slots
Follower / Trailblazer / Contributor moves can use the Warzone's remaining Transfer Point pool.

Current point-based branch caps total incoming Commanders at 400.
Generation warning: another retained client branch uses fixed Fully Open quotas instead. Always identify which model your event is actually showing before leadership starts promising seats.
APPLICATION & APPROVAL

Know what locks—and when

1

Submit a request

You can apply to an eligible destination under the current event's application rules. A target President may need to approve you.

2

Before approval, you can cancel

Canceling creates a 30-minute wait before you can reapply to that same Warzone. You can still apply to a different Warzone without that same-target cooldown.

3

Approval locks the destination

Once a request is approved, the target cannot be canceled or changed for that application period, and further requests are blocked.

4

Transfer manually—or it can transfer automatically

Approved players can move during the live transfer window. Current rules also provide for automatic transfer after the period if the approved move was not manually completed.

TICKETS & REFUNDS

Do not waste your transfer tickets

Before applying

Build your ticket reserve early and confirm the exact requirement on your live event. Recent transfer generations commonly require 50 Transfer Tickets for the first transfer, but BlackBar does not treat a historical ticket total as stronger than the live event screen.

If the first application fails

  • A denied first-transfer application returns the required Transfer Tickets by mail.
  • A canceled first-transfer application also returns the required Transfer Tickets by mail.
Generation-sensitive rule:

One current client branch says only the first transfer during that Transfer event consumes Transfer Tickets and later transfers in the same event do not. Do not plan around that until your live event confirms that branch is active for your group.

ACCOUNT STATE

What carries over when you move

The current transfer matrix preserves much more than your basic account progression.

Progress preserved

  • Radar active-task progress, completed-unclaimed tasks, remaining attempts, and refreshes.
  • Secret Task active/completed tasks and remaining attempts.
  • General's Trial difficulty/progress.
  • Doom Walker first-kill attempts.
  • Wanted Boss progress.
  • Honorable Campaign progress.
  • Zombie Invasion summon / Courage Medal progress.
  • Bounty Hunter event progress.

Special handling during transfer

  • Active Ghost Ops complete immediately and rewards are mailed.
  • Active Trucks receive special automatic-completion handling.
  • A Train where the transferring player is Conductor receives special automatic-completion handling.
Best practice: screenshot active event/task states immediately before transferring so you can compare the destination state without relying on memory.
AFTER YOU ARRIVE

Your first Alliance matters

Current rules waive several normal Alliance waiting periods when you join your first Alliance in the destination Warzone.

Zombie Siege exception

If you join after Zombie Siege has already started, the first-Alliance waiver does not let you enter that already-started Siege.

R4 / R5

Leadership transfer planning

Do not recruit or promise moves from an old chart. Build the plan from the live event.

01

Record the live group

Screenshot every eligible destination and the event dates/times.

02

Record each recruit's category

Use the event's actual score/category, not total Combat Power.

03

Track capacity

For Fully Open destinations, track remaining Transfer Points and Commander slots as approvals consume them.

04

Approve in a deliberate order

Approval can deduct Warzone Transfer Points and is irreversible for the application period.

05

Plan leadership succession

Presidents and Alliance Leaders who are moving must resign before they can apply.

06

Prepare the landing Alliance

Have the destination Alliance ready so arrivals use their first-Alliance exemptions cleanly.

COMMON MISTAKES

What not to do

Do not use an old score cutoff to decide your category.

Do not promise an entire alliance can move until destination capacity is known.

Do not submit a request you are willing to have approved while you are still shopping for another server.

Do not let a moving President or Alliance Leader wait until the last minute to step down.

Do not assume Overlord is always included—or always excluded—from Transfer Score.

Do not transfer without screenshots of active event and task states.

Why some values stay live-only

Current readable game data contains multiple Transfer Surge generations. Where those branches disagree—especially Fully Open capacity and Overlord inclusion—BlackBar Gaming deliberately defers to the active event rather than presenting a stale number as universal.
